Vintage AKG, expensive ribbons.and this mic holds its own all day! It's got this crazy vintage full bodied, warm, luscious tone.and it blows away all those crappy, thin sounding, treble boosted mics kids are buying these days.just my opinion of course: I recently used this mic for vocals on a record and fell more in love with it.I have owned the mic for less than a year and sadly it lost the coin toss with my other mics.so I gotta sell it.
